The Best RV Park to Visit in Oregon
We started this blog to encourage others to live in the moment. That means different things for everyone, but whatever you do, find a way to LIVE. You can start by getting outside for a bit of an adventure. We did just that this past summer. We visited a private RV park.
Now, we are not the biggest fans of private RV parks. We usually opt for state parks and national parks because they never disappoint. They’re typically more spacious compared to their private counterparts. Private RV parks are not always the best looking either. But this time, we found one that rocked our world – The Bend/Sisters Garden RV Resort in Oregon.
It’s better than any private RV park we've seen. It’s beautiful, spacious, green, well-maintained, and the service is next level. The staff is professional and kind. It was an incredible customer experience!
We also rented rafts to enjoy the summer warmth in the river. Ours got deflated, and one of our travel companions fell into the water, but we had an enormous amount of fun.
The trip was really about enjoying the journey. I know it's cliché, but the journey is the destination. When you're out traveling, don't just beeline for your destination. Notice what you're passing and maybe stop.
We drove past the big obsidian flow, the result of an eruption about 1300 years ago. It consists of obsidian and pumice, and it's about 1.1 square miles and 17 stories high.
The trip was one of the biggest pleasant surprises of our full-time RVing journey. We hope you take the time to visit this beautiful RV park when you get the chance.
As always, we can't wait to share more of our adventures with you.
